The Joshua Jern Jazz Orchestra is the most exciting new large jazz ensemble to come out of Chicago in a long time.  The J.J. Jazz Orchestra, which plays modern compositions and arrangements that highlight stunning and inventive ensemble work alongside world-class improvised solo artistry, features some of the finest musicians in the world who perform/have performed with Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Ray Charles, Harry Connick, Jr., Maynard Ferguson, Dizzy Gillepsie, Wynton Marsalis, Clark Terry, Frank Mantooth Jazz Orchestra, Rob Parton Big Band, Chicago Jazz Orchestra, and many more.  The Joshua Jern Jazz Orchestra’s debut album Midnight Stroll, released in October 2019, tied Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band for #1 Most Added NACC Jazz and Jazzweek.  Their second album Lockdown was released to critical acclaim on July 12, 2021 and is available at the link below.
